Artist Statement

Holy Spirit, enlighten us ! Inspired by the prayer "O Holy Spirit, enlighten me, Strengthen me, So that I shall understand And know my divine call, Who I am, What I should be, And what I must do, As well as the means By which these ends May be accomplished.", the composition is a visual reminder of the power of the holy spirit, as we come together in life and mission of the Church.

About the Artist

Clarissa Cervantes is a poet, photographer, physical therapist and researcher. Clarissa strives to create beautiful and meaningful Catholic images and articles to inspire and uplift readers. Clarissa holds a B.A. in Physical Therapy, where she found her solidarity, vocation to help as well as to deliver comfort to people all over the world through her images and words. For Clarissa every imagine captured that represents her faith is a gift from God to be shared with others and encourage one another to find beauty and gratitude in their daily lives.
