Together In Prayer

Artist Statement

Together in prayer is a visual reminder of the power of prayer that united us with the Father. Together we pray for the synoldolity; the life and mission of the church. In 1 John 5:14, the scriptures tell us: “And this is the boldness we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us.” The light signifies our prayer, which is offered in faith, entering the light of God.

About the Artist

Clarissa Cervantes is a poet, photographer, physical therapist and researcher. Clarissa strives to create beautiful and meaningful Catholic images and articles to inspire and uplift readers. Clarissa holds a B.A. in Physical Therapy, where she found her solidarity, vocation to help as well as to deliver comfort to people all over the world through her images and words. For Clarissa every imagine captured that represents her faith is a gift from God to be shared with others and encourage one another to find beauty and gratitude in their daily lives.
