How do I submit a notice?
Submit your notice using one of the submission buttons above, or email your notice to catholicartistconnection@gmail.com by 12:00 PM EST on the Saturday before the Tuesday on which you want your notice to start running. Notices run for three consecutive issues, unless the opportunity/event ends earlier. Notices also start running in the next available issue, unless you specify a particular date on which you want the notice to begin running.
Do I have to be Catholic to receive or submit notices to the newsletter?
Nope! Everyone is welcome to receive the newsletter. We share all notices which we believe are appropriate and would be useful to Catholic artists, regardless of whether or not the event or sponsoring organization is specifically Catholic. (For example, we have shared notices from other Christian and interfaith organizations, as well as calls for proposals for secular journals/conferences which welcome all academic voices. If Catholics are welcome to participate, the notice is fair game for inclusion.) Therefore, we do not vet notices for adherence to Catholic doctrine, nor make any claims as to the orthodoxy of the sponsors of a particular event or opportunity.
