Kaizen Muse creativity coaching, founded by Jill Badonsky, derives its name from the Japanese word “kaizen” meaning continuous improvement made through small steps. This concept, converged with creative principles personified as “muses”, employs mindfulness, intuition, and creative self-talk to make continuous improvement through small steps. Kaizen Muse creativity coaching is a non-linear approach that helps individuals reach goals by engaging with their awareness and inviting joy. It lowers pressure and focuses on the client’s unique creative process (at any stage) rather than providing a “one-size-fits-all” method or only product oriented.

In my coaching, I offer proven and memorable tools to help clients begin (and begin again), detangle overwhelm, and work through areas of resistance within their unique process. Clients gain clarity and joy, strengthen their beliefs and sense of self-agency. Kaizen Muse works especially well for individuals experiencing resistance, doubt in their creative abilities, paralyzing perfectionism, and chronic procrastination.

Clients of KMCC experience:

+ rejuvenation of the creative mind and imagination

+ ease in achieving “unattainable” or elusive goals

+ success- oriented habits

+ move beyond obstacles

+ translate ideas into reality

+ increased productivity… and more!

The client/coach relationship provides a non-threatening, low- pressure support and structure, through custom in-session experiences. I have served a wide range of individuals from writers to art teachers, artists to fitness instructors, anyone who has desired to approach life with creativity. I offer different package options for 1:1 coaching to help my clients explore their creativity and make steps toward their goals. I believe that God invites creative individuals to live vulnerably and intuitively; to be open to the wonder and movements of the Holy Spirit; to be available to express the intangible, through the tangible. I also believe every creative has a many important stories to tell and a unique journey which they are navigating through life.

This can be both exciting and daunting, isolating, and confusing at times, especially in the day-to-day. My role as a Catholic, faith-filled creativity coach is to support my clients by drawing upon their unique God-given strengths, intuition, and common sense, to help them recognize the connections between the small steps and the larger picture. When we work together, my clients are enabled to access joy in the process while also getting to the work they feel called to and want to do.
