American Swedish Institute Male Chorus

The American Swedish Institute Male Chorus of Minneapolis has performed nationally and internationally, as well as throughout Minnesota. In June of 2000, we hosted the National Convention of the American Union of Swedish Singers, concluding with a sold-our mass concert in Benson Hall at Bethel College. In 2003 we were guest artists in Lindsborg, Kansas for its annual three-day “Midsommardag” Festival. While on our tour we gave concerts in Des Moines, Iowa; Shawnee Mission, Kansas; and Bella Vista, Arkansas. We have toured Sweden a number of times. During the summer of 2011, the chorus had a successful concert tour in Sweden. In June of 2014 we hosted the central division convention of the American Union of Swedish Singers.
