Amanda Ruiz
Amanda Ruiz is a theatre artist and educator dedicated to creating a cultural revolution through the art of theatre. Amanda balances her artistic pursuits with her vocation as a wife and mother to five children.
In 2009, she founded Kalos Theatre, a company committed to acting as a bridge from the secular to the sacred through powerfully dynamic storytelling. One of her most notable projects was touring with her one-woman show, "A Mother's Passion: The Passion through the Eyes of Mary." This deeply enriching experience solidified her belief in the profound connection between art and spirituality.
Amanda took a hiatus from performing to focus on her family, during which she taught theatre at her children's schools. She has since returned to the stage with renewed enthusiasm, performing as a MainStage actor with Holy Smoke Comedy. Currently, she is working on relaunching Kalos Theatre, driven by the mission to forever change artists and audiences, inspiring them to shape a world of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
