St. Malachy’s - The Actors’ Chapel

Serves Times Square and the Broadway theater community, on West 49th Street at 8th Avenue. A post-theater Mass is available every Saturday at 11 p.m. Features an artist-focused young adult group, an artists’ prayer group, Lenten artist retreats, and the St. Genesius Society, a weekly presentation of new work by playwrights, directors, and actors. Also hosts regular concert series and a volunteer choir featuring Broadway and other professional performers. The parish jointly hosts the annual Broadway Blessing with the Actors’ Temple.
